Biography
John is a Patent Attorney in our Stockholm office.
John Carlund specialises in the technical fields of signal processing, manufacturing and energy technologies as well as mechatronics.
John started his IP career at ICM Advice (Gothenburg, Sweden) as an Intellectual Property Consultant during his studies at Chalmers. Later on, John interned at SME’s within the autonomous vehicle technology segment, where he focused on value creation through intellectual asset management.
Prior to joining Rouse in 2024 he worked at Groth & Co, advising clients in patent matters such as patent drafting and prosecution, as well as IP strategy, freedom to operate and patent landscape / competition analysis.
In addition to his drafting & prosecution work at Groth & Co, he spearheaded several pilot projects on AI-assisted patent counselling, such as AI-assisted patent landscape analysis, resulting in major cost savings and improved quality for clients.
